As a non-profit organization Tudor City Greens counts on its volunteers to maintain the vitality of the organization and the upkeep of the parks.
Newsletter/Publicity/FundRaising
The Board publishes a newsletter, 'Tudor City Greens' and also produces flyers and promotional materials to publicize special events and spearhead fundraising activities.
This website maintains a TCG Directory and local merchants and service providers are encouraged to place their advertisements, banners or text links on our site. Volunteers are needed to solicit ads from merchants and service providers.
Special Events
Extra help is always welcomed at special events, which are held in the Parks throughout the year. Activities can range from holiday decorating to hiding Easter eggs, arranging Bistro chairs to filling Halloween bags.
Greens Volunteers
Volunteer gardeners work in the Parks every Wednesday morning from Spring through Fall. Their tasks include planting, pruning, weeding and watering, and other jobs as needed to keep the Parks looking their best. If there is enough interest a Saturday morning group will also be formed.
